Good Samaritan Floral is an up and coming floral business rooted in Kansas City. With a year of operation under their belt, they were looking to invest in a custom brand for their business to align with their goals of expanding their offering. The primary goal for Good Samaritan was to create an elevated, unique brand to distinguish them from other florists in Kansas City.
After doing research on competitors in the space, the direction toward a darker toned, elegant brand for Good Samaritan rose to the surface. Hand-drawn floral illustrations paired with elegant type-setting created a look of refinement to support the business' desire to expand into new markets. Taking inspiration from Dutch oil paintings for the backgrounds and color palette served to distinguish Good Samaritan from the airy and fresh style used for many KC florists.
