Expanding the Brand

The Farmer’s Wife brand started off strong with primary type logos and one beautifully illustrated badge. With the request for a merch expansion, we took this opportunity to expand what we had already done with the brand photoshoots and store designs into a more expansive visual language of illustrations that could be used interchangably throughout the brand. What we ended up with was a robust package of expanded logos and badges that brought The Farmer’s Wife into a fresh new phase of their brand.

Missouri Sown & Grown

With the legalization of recreational cannabis consumption on the horizon, we saw an opportunity for the Farmer’s Wife to dig into their locally owned, hometown roots with this new illustrated merch package. With taglines like “Smoke Local” and “Missouri Sown & Grown,” we called attention to the roots The Farmer’s Wife had already planted in their community and encouraged consumers to stay loyal to the brand before new brands inevitably established themselves in this new era of cannabis.

The Spirit of The Farmer's Wife

Through everything we’ve created for this brand, the spirit of The Farmer’s Wife has run through each piece of the story. We always show her carefully tending to her plants to show her care for the earth and for others. She believes in the healing power of plants and in never showing up empty-handed. We even included a vase of flowers in this illustrated package to call back to the floral arrangements we included in our first photoshoot.
